Human Resource Development has become the primary task around the world. In the past few decades in order to increase the quantity, HRD activities has been shared in the private sector too. With the private participation the quantity has gone up considerably while the quality remains the same. The growth in higher learning institutions has been considerable particularly with the involvement of Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled services.
In the teaching-learning process, it has been a teacher centric and with the advent of Information Technology and IT-enabled services, teaching-learning process has undergone a sea change. Changing complexities of Teaching – learning process, the changing complexities in the definition of student and obsolescence that pervades the teacher, new solution is needed which is student-centric. Changing educational environment makes the learning process more complicated.
